Sunday, June 17

I swam laps in my aunt’s pool, mowed the lawn, and planted my flowers. That was my exercise for Sunday! It was a hot day.

Monday, June 18

I had an appointment with the doctor about my rash. It turns out that it’s shingles. Fortunately, it’s a mild case and doesn’t really interfere with running. In fact, I tend to forget about it while running!

We also had a 10 to 15 minute thunderstorm that was so violent we lost power for 12 hours. When the power finally came back on at 4.30 a.m., it was 80°F upstairs.

Tuesday, June 19

I went out around 6.20 p.m. It was sunny and 79°F, with a humidity of 39 percent, a dew point of 52°F, and winds NNE at 10 mph.

I walked for 2 minutes,
ran for 12 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 12 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 14 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 43 minutes.

Run time: 38 minutes

Thursday, July 20

I did go walking with my friend for an hour and also worked my arms in the pool (using a pool buoy to steady the legs).

Monday, September 14

Today it is not raining! LOL Seriously, my “rain” running shoes are still wet. And, regarding my aunt’s pool: about a month ago I needed to put the hose in to fill it up, because the water level was so low. Now it’s at a record high! And, I did swim yesterday.

Today I ran around 2.50 p.m. It was mostly sunny and 69°F, with a humidity of 62 percent, a dew point of  55°F, and a heat index of 69°F.  A side note: I am not ready for the cooler weather to be here!

I walked for 2 minutes,
ran for 38 minutes,
then walked back for a total of 42 minutes.

Thursday, September 10

Yesterday it looked like it was going to thunder (both visually and by radar), so I didn’t run, but I did swim laps in my aunt’s pool. Unfortunately, it didn’t rain! But the heat index was high, so maybe that was okay.

Today I went out around 2 p.m. It is overcast and 75°F, with a humidity of 86 percent, a dew point of 71°F, and a heat index of 75°F.

I walked for 2 minutes,

then walked back for a total of 42 minutes.

My aunt’s pool opened this week, and the pool is pristine, so now I’m off for a dip, no matter how cold it is! Hehe!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
