So after my wonderful run on Saturday (in which I should have stopped and just walked), I took yesterday off because I have these twinges in my heel. I feel like I can’t get off the ground with this running venture! I went tonight, and did three 3.5 minute runs and walked for a total 33 minutes. I tried to do a fourth run, but my heel began to hurt. I’m so bummed because I just want to run! Right now I have my heel in ice. I don’t want it to become full blown plantar fasciitis, which I have never had and with luck, never will. I am now stretching before AND after running, even though I’ve read that it’s better to stretch after a run. So frustrated!
