Thursday, April 9

The insomnia continues. I took a powerful sleep pill last night, and I was awoken at 4 a.m. by an unnamed being in my household. Ah well!

I went out around 1.55 p.m. It was cloudy and 40 degrees F with a wind chill of 37 degrees F.

I walked for 4 minutes;
ran for 25 minutes;
then walked home for a total of 32 minutes.

Run time: 25 minutes

Walk time: 7 minutes

I am now walking/running over 2.5 miles.

So, I think this should be made into a full-length song that we can all run to! I just love it (although personally I think YouTube is getting more annoying, and I know we have Google to thank for that – although I’m not thrilled about iTunes either).

Wednesday, January 28 (and a Spoiler Alert!)

It’s sunny and around 27-30 degrees F, with a slight wind chill of 19 degrees. As to the snow? We only received one inch, although 15 miles east from us received at least a foot. Location is everything!

I walked for 5 minutes;
ran for 4.5 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4.5 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 9 minutes;
then walked home for a total of 32 minutes.

Run time: 18 minutes

Walk time: 14 minutes

I had to share this commercial with you. SPOILER ALERT: it’s supposedly Budweiser’s ad for this year’s Super Bowl. But it’s too cute not to share!

I’m bummed. I thought I recorded my workout on MapMyRun, but I don’t think it’s there. That’s happened to me before – I don’t know quite how it disappears.

As I walked out, I had this song in mind, because of the commercial:

Anyways, I went out around 1.15 p.m. It is sunny (yay!) and 31 degrees F with a wind chill of 25 degrees F.

I walked for 5 minutes;
ran for 4.25 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4.25 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4.25 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4.25 minutes;
then walked home for a total of 31.5 minutes.

Run time: 17 minutes

Walk time: 14.5 minutes

I kinda went a new way today – my running path intersects with the golf course path, so I just continue on there sometimes. Easier to avoid the ice that way!

Have a great run! 🙂
