I went out around 5.40 p.m. It was sunny and 69°F, with a humidity of 30 percent, a dew point of 35°F, and winds South at 9 mph.

I walked for 8 minutes,
ran for 3 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 3 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 3 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 3 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 30 minutes.

Run time: 12 minutes

Walk time: 18 minutes

Tuesday, May 16

Yesterday I began my “cross training” by spending 25 minutes on the stationary bike.

Today I went out around 5.50 p.m. It was mostly cloudy and 74°F, with a humidity of 35 percent, a dew point of 45°F, and winds West at 5 mph.

I walked for 10 minutes,
ran for 3 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 3 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 3 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 3 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 30+ minutes (the “+” meaning an indeterminate amount between 1 and 50 seconds).

Run time: 12 minutes

Walk time: 18+ minutes

Friday, May 12

I went out around 5.45 p.m. It was mostly sunny and 64°F, with a humidity of 46 percent, a dew point of 42°F, and winds South at 7 mph.

I walked for 8 minutes,
ran for 5 minutes, walked for 2 minutes,
ran for 5 minutes, walked for 2 minutes,
ran for 5 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 30 minutes.

Run time: 15 minutes

Walk time: 15 minutes

Tomorrow it’s supposed to rain cats and dogs, so I’ll probably do something indoors!

Hi there! I have been exercising, but not really logging it in as I should.

  • Thursday, May 4 – I walked with my friend for an hour.
  • Monday, May 8 – walked on the treadmill for around 36 minutes, interspersed with 4 2-minute running intervals.
  • Tuesday, May – same as above, except the runs tended to be longer than 2 minutes.

Today I went out around 5.50 p.m. It was partly sunny and 62°F, with a humidity of 38 percent, a dew point of 36°F, and winds East at 3 mph.

I walked for 10 minutes,
ran for 2.5 minutes, walked for 2.5 minutes,
ran for 2.5 minutes, walked for 2.5 minutes,
ran for 2.5 minutes, walked for 2.5 minutes,
ran for 2.5 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 31 minutes.

Run time: 10 minutes

Walk time: 21 minutes

Feels good to be back on the road!

Sunday, April 30

I’m back! I had taken some time off to heal my groin (which I don’t think is healed, but by now, I don’t really care anymore). At least the leaves are out, and the two to three feet of snow we got on March 9 is all gone!

I went out around 5.30 p.m. It was cloudy and 54°F, with a humidity of 63 percent and a dew point of 41°F.

I walked for 5 minutes,
ran for 4 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 4 minutes, walked for 1 minute,
ran for 4 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 20 minutes.

Walk time: 8 minutes

I’ll probably be sorry about running so much tomorrow, but I’m glad to be back on the road again!
