Sunday, January 1 – Happy New Year!

I did not want to go running today! I was out until about 1 a.m. last night, and then couldn’t get to  sleep.

It’s a beautiful day. I went out around 2.50 p.m. It’s sunny and 44°F, with a humidity of 32 percent, a dew point of 17°F, and winds WNW at 6 mph (wind chill of 41°F).

I walked for 2 minutes,
ran for 27 minutes,
then walked home for a total of 30 minutes.

Run time: 27 minutes

Walk time: 3 minutes

Regarding 2016 – Overall, I’d have to say that my running was up and down but I probably averaged between 25-30 minutes mostly. I did gain weight (one of my new year’s resolutions is to not eat so much sugar!). I also didn’t kayak as much because of my tennis elbow. This is one of the reasons I had gotten so skinny the previous year (and then packed on the pounds!).

On the plus side, my divorce was finalized, and I got to go back to my maiden name. Hurrah!
