Today was a great day! Not only did I go kayaking, but I ran as well!

It was 32°F (0°C) when we set out to Cold Spring, where the Constitution Marsh is located. It was also windy. We drove to Foundry Dock Park, which is right next to Cold Spring’s Metro North station.

One important thing about kayaking here is that you have to go under the railroad bridge to get to the marsh, and you can only do so at low tide. The moon is nearly full, so low tide was kind of high.

For a silly video of me kayaking:

I’d like to note that I also saw a beaver, but unfortunately the kayak was going too fast for me to get the camera out and take a picture!

Today I also ran – on the treadmill.

I walked for 4 minutes;
ran for 11 minutes;
walked for 2 minutes;
ran for 10 minutes;
walked until the 30 minute mark.

Run time: 21 minutes

Walk time: 9 minutes
