Sunday, September 20

Yesterday I went kayaking with my friend. We went in the Hudson River, embarking from Longview Park, which is mentioned in the book The Boys in the Boat, by Daniel James Brown.  The Poughkeepsie Regatta, which was hosted by Cornell University, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania, became nationally renown.

Anyways, went kayaked south of the park and under the Walkway and the Mid-Hudson Bridge.

View facing south. The Walkway is in the forefront, and the Mid-Hudson Bridge in behind it.

Today I went out around 4.50 p.m.  It was clear and 70°F, with a humidity of 44 percent and a dew point of 51 percent. It’s definitely getting cooler. I have a feeling we will be discussing wind chills soon. 😦

I walked for 2 minutes,
ran for 39 minutes,
then walked back for a total of 43 minutes.

Run time: 39 minutes

Walk time: 4 minutes
