I went for a walk today with my friend. We walked on the rail trail, but unfortunately it wasn’t plowed – we had gotten about 1 inch of snow last night. Fortunately, it had been really cold, so the snow was
“dry” as opposed to “wet and sloppy.”

We walked about 2.6 miles in 47 minutes. It was a little tough going, as there was ice beneath the snow, but we really worked our legs!

  1. good for you! snow/ice walks are the best workout as long as you’re prepared for it. Had some of my best walks in the mountains of Colorado (not where I live) when I’d go skiing. 🙂
