Monday, December 15

Whew! Another warm one! I went out around 2.25 p.m. It was sunny (YAY!), 45 degrees F, with a slight wind chill of 41 degrees F.

I walked for 8 minutes;
ran for 2.75 minutes; walked for 1.75 minutes;
ran for 2.75 minutes; walked for 1.75 minutes;
ran for 2.75 minutes; walked for 1.75 minutes;
ran for 2.75 minutes;
then walked home for a total of 30.5 minutes.

Run time: 11 minutes

Walk time: 19.5 minutes

We are getting all of our Christmas presents “wrapped up,” so to speak. I’m still missing presents for 2 members of the family. I also cook our Christmas Eve dinner. My father’s family is Polish-American, so we celebrate the Wigilia (or Vigil) dinner. This is very similar to the “seven fishes” dinner a lot of Catholic Americans celebrate. I mostly cook shellfish, and the main entrée is crab cakes, as it’s usually the only time I can eat them (since I have celiac disease). I’m getting hungry already!
