Saturday, July 5

I went out around 9 a.m. It was 68 degrees F when I left (72 degrees F when I returned), partly cloudy, with humidity of 44% and a dewpoint of 49 degrees F.

I began with a 6 minute walk;
ran for 4 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4 minutes; walked for 1 minute;
ran for 4 minutes;
then walked home for a total of 32 minutes.

Run time: 16 minutes

Walk time: 16 minutes

I’ve been very discouraged about running. Tuesday I didn’t run because our air conditioner broke and we put another one in the window, and it was very humid outside and hot in the house to boot. Wednesday we had company (and thunderstorms!) and Thursday it was raining all day. Yesterday was rainy, too, although I could have run in the morning.

I hope ya’ll are having a wonderful weekend! 🙂

  1. Don’t let the weather get you down..it’s just another obstacle to overcome mentally. Run when you can and don’t be afraid to push yourself past your comfort levels. It’ll just make you a better runner and mentally stronger. 🙂

Looking forward to your thoughts!
