What a year

So I went out and walked a half a mile today.

Why is this notable? My mom ended up breaking her ribs on New Year’s Day. Then we had record-breaking cold weather and my furnace decided to stop working. I finally got it replaced when we had an ice storm and I broke my arm trying to help my dog on the ice. Fortunately it’s a clean break, and with luck I will not need surgery. So now I am just starting to walk because I read that it’s important to keep exercising even when you have a broken arm.

I hope your year is going better than mine!
